CVHH Start-up Task List
–
Run the oil pum p to verify pum p can provide 18 to 22 psid (124.1 to 151.7 kPad) net pressure.
–
Run the oil pum p to verify pum p can provide 137.9 to 165.5 kPad (20 to 24 psid) net pressure.
–
Verify and record control param eters.
–
Verify all control interlocks are installed and properly functioning.
–
Dry run starter (non-AFD).
•
M easure condenser pressures and flow .
•
Adjust condenser flow sensing device.
•
M easure evaporator pressures and flow .
•
Adjust evaporator flow sensing device.
•
Inspect m otor starter panel and perform starter panel checkout procedures.
•
Confirm proper phase check incom ing pow er.
•
Inspect control panel.
•
Apply separate source 120 Vac pow er to control to perform control panel checkout procedure.
•
Review and record unit configuration param eters.
•
Verify the operation of the oil tank vent valve.
•
Verify that the oil cooling line valve actuates.
•
Verify vane operator is w orking properly and m oves w ithout binding.
•
Dry run test starter (non-AFD).
•
Rem ove separate source pow er and reconnect w iring.
Preparation for Start-up
•
Relieve nitrogen holding charge.
•
Confirm proper oil pum p operation.
•
Confirm oil pum p pressure—regulating valve setting.
•
Evacuate and charge the system .
•
Apply pow er to the starter panel.
•
Verify current to the oil sum p heater.
Chiller Start-up
•
Set Purge m ode to “ On.”
•
Bum p-start the com pressor and verify com pressor m otor rotation.
•
Start chiller.
•
Verify no unusual noises or vibrations and observe operating conditions.
•
If necessary, adjust oil pressure regulator betw een 137.9 to 165.5 kPad (20 to 24 psid) net.
•
M easure and verify refrigerant pum p pressure.
•
When chiller is stable, take system log three tim es at 15-m inute intervals.
•
Set Purge m ode to “Adaptive.”
•
Reset the “ Starter Energy Consum ption” resettable.
•
Record a Chiller Service Report.
•
Review “AdaptiView Display Custom er Training Checklist.”
