The heating element is double insulated, eliminating the need
for an earth connection. The optimum surface temperature is
36˚C therefore a transformer on the thermostat is not required.
A switch must be incorporated in the fixed wiring to
allow disconnection of this appliance from the supply. This
must be installed in accordance with the national wiring
regulations.
• Take power feed from a light circuit or separate electrical
circuit, exiting the wall where the mirror is mounted.
• Mark the intended position of the Demister element on
the back of your mirror on the wall.
• Line up the power feed with the element cold tail, ensuring
the join does not protrude.
• Remove the self adhesive backing from the element and
apply the adhesive side with the corresponding marks.
• Using a clean cloth smooth out the element ensuring that it
lies flat.
Note:
• Do not puncture or screw through anywhere on the element.
• This appliance is not intended for use by young children or
infirm persons unless they have been adequately supervised
by a responsible person to ensure they can use the appliance
safely.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.

Warranty
2 year warranty
This product is warranted against defects in material
and workmanship under normal conditions of use for a period
of two years from the date of purchase. During this period, we
will repair or replace the product, if it is defective in
normal operating conditions in terms of materials or
workmanship, with a new product of equivalent quality at our
discretion.
The warranty does not cover costs of transportation,
removal, installation or damage caused by misuse or accident.
In no event will we be liable for consequential loss
resulting from the installation of the product. Any
defective product should be returned to us with the original
invoice.
