Onboard Parallel Port
This item allows you to determine onboard parallel port
controller I/O address setting.
The choice: 378/IRQ7
(default)
, 278/IRQ5, 3BC/IRQ7,
Disabled.
Parallel Port Mode
The choice: SPP
(default)
, EPP, ECP, ECP+EPP, Normal.
SPP
Sets the parallel port to function as a
Standard Parallel Port. This is the default
(and slowest) option.
EPP
Sets the parallel port to Enhanced Parallel
Port mode. Sometimes also called
"Bi-directional"
ECP
Sets the parallel port up as an Enhanced
Capabilities Port. This setting requires the
use of a DMA channel
If Parallel Port Mode Select is[SPP] and [Normal]
will show:
