Identify Adapter Feature
The
Amber
LED
has
an
“Identify”
option.
In
an
OS,
you
can
choose
to
“Identify”
an
Adapter,
which
makes
the
NIC’s
Green/Amber
LEDs
blink
in
a
unique
alternating
pattern.
This
is
useful
for
PCs
that
have
more
than
one
NIC
installed.
For
example,
click
“Identify
Adapter”
and
then
click
the
Start
button
to
flash
the
L/A
LED’s
alternating
pattern.
The
alternating
pattern
that
displays
depends
on
the
computer
system.
