Note:
The battery of your equipment does
not require maintenance. Do not
attempt to remove covers. You do not
need to check or complete the level
of the electrolyte.
Clean battery and terminals
Corrosion and dirt in battery and terminals can
decrease power.
1. To remove battery from equipment, see
item
“Installation” (Check Battery).
2. Wash battery with water and dry it.
3. Clean terminals and cable ends with a
metal
brush until shiny.
4. Cover terminals with grease or
Vaseline.
5. Install battery.
Gasoline motor
Lubrication
Only use high-quality detergent oil, classified
as SG-SL by API. Select SAE oil, viscosity grade
according to the operation temperature foreseen.
To change motor oil
Establish the temperature range foreseen before
next change of oil. All oils must correspond to API
SG-SL classification.
1. Equipment must be on a flat and level surface.
2. Hot oil will drain better.
3. Collect used oil in proper container.
4. Carefully unscrew oil container to prevent
accidents such as burns.

Attention!
If motor is hot when changing oil, be careful to
remove oil container. Hot oil is released with
more pressure, and may cause burns.
5. When oil has been fully drained, screw back oil
container.
6. Remove the cover (1) and fill the tank with oil with
the quantity defined in the motor manual. After
completed, close it again.

7. Check the level of oil with indicating rod (2). For
better reading, firmly hold cover on tube before
removing the rod. Keep oil at rod “
Full
” level.

Note:
Frequently check level of motor oil to
prevent damage due to lack of oil.
Attention!
All maintenance or cleaning should be done
with the power off and the spark plug wire
disconnected.
