For shredders traded without motor, the minimum
power choice must follow the technical data
presented on page 52.
Note:
it is recommended that the connection of
the electric motors is conducted by a professional
electrician.
Attention!
Before making any connections, make sure
power source is disconnected.
1. Make sure the power source where the
shredder will be installed is compatible with
the data shown on the motor plate.
2. Disconnect the power source to make motor
connections.
3. Make the connections shown according to
the voltage of the power source.
4. Make sure the connections are well
insulated.
5. After connecting the motor wires to the
on/off switch, connect the motor to the
power grid and verify the motor rotation
direction, if necessary, change the motor
wire connection as indicated in the motor to
reverse the rotation.
Gasoline
Certify that there’-s oil in the crankcase and if the
level is correct. The factory engines use 20W50 oil.
Check for the presence of gasoline in the fuel tank.
Check the gasoline tank capacity and the amount of
crankcase oil on page 53.

After refueling with gasoline and adding oil to the
crankcase, turn the power cut-off switch (1) on, open
the fuel valve (3), place the choke lever (4) and the
throttle lever (5) towards the rabbit direction.
Carefully pull the retractable (2) start rope until you
find some resistance, then pull it all the way through.
Repeat this procedure until the engine runs.
Release the rewind starter rope gently to avoid
damaging the engine’s covers.
Allow the motor to heat up for some minutes.
Return the choke lever (4), when returning the choke
lever to the original position, if the engine does not
turn off, this indicates the engine is warmed up.
Activate the throttle lever and start working with the
maximum rotation.
In an emergency situation, in order to turn the
engine off turn the power cut-off switch (1) off.
Under normal conditions, to turn the engine off,
close the fuel valve (3) and let the engine turns off
due to lack of fuel in the carburetor, then, turn the
power cut-off switch (1) off.
Note:
for further information on the operation, refer to
the motor manual.
