8.  The right twig is placed under the front right log as shown below. 

 

     

 

9.  Position the center twig as shown below.  When in place, the twig will insert under the front left log and 

line up with the right twig. 

 

     

 

10.  Replace the glass frame and start the fireplace.  Let the fireplace burn for 30 minutes on high and check 

the logs for sooting.  Remove the glass and carefully inspect the areas above the burner for soot 
accumulation.  If any soot is detected, re-adjust the log and repeat this step to insure no sooting occurs.
