Outdoor Linear Burners
Weatherproofing the Installation
This appliance is designed to withstand being installed outdoors in the elements; however, the enclosure will need
to be designed and constructed to withstand the same. The builder must provide a means for water to escape the
enclosure that is appropriate and specific to the site of the installation. This may necessitate improving ground
drainage, the fabrication of a drain pan, creation of weep holes in the base of the enclosure, or building a roof over
the appliance (covers over the appliance must meet all the requirements detailed in this manual).
