digital stereo audio signals between different devices. Use this menu item, if you
have, for example, connected a HiFi system via the coaxial audio output:
LPCM:
The signal is recoded. Has the original signal been e. g. Dolby Digital
5.1, not this is played, but a unified PCM signal (stereo sound).
RAW:
The audio signal is emitted as it is (raw format). If, for example, the
signal is Dolby Digital 5.1, it is emitted as such. This requires a connected
audio system that supports this feature.

IP SYNC
:
Due to the increasing complexity of the digital processing inside of digital image
display devices, the image display is often delayed by several milliseconds, which
means, the data streams for video and sound may drift apart. The result is: The
image does not run synchronously any more to the sound and during dialogues
the voices are cleary different from the lip movements. Lip Sync provides an
opportunity for the audio delay and thus can compensate for this disadvantage.
The following options are available:
L
IP SYNC
(AUTO):
For the automatic synchronization of the audio track with
the lip movements.
L
IP SYNC
(
MANUALLY
):
To manually synchronize the soundtrack with the lip
movements.

ments is turned off.
