FAQ
In this chapter you receive answers to the most frequently asked questions as well
as notes about the troubleshooting of your SmartTV Station.
The SmartTV Station cannot be turned on
1)
Check the connection to the power cable. Unplug the power cable from the
SmartTV Station and connect it again.
2)
Make sure that the remote control batteries are working respective installed
correctly.
The SmartTV Station does not react to keystrokes of the remote control
1)
Make sure that the remote control batteries are working respective installed
correctly.
2)
Clean the remote control as well as the sensor lens of the SmartTV Station.
The SmartTV Station is switched on but no picture is displayed
1)
Check, if the HDMI cable is connected properly. Unplug the HDMI cable from
the SmartTV Station and connect it again.
2)
Make sure that the HDMI port of the TV is not damaged.
3)
Connect the SmartTV Station via the included AV cable to your TV. If an
image appears now, the HDMI cable may be damaged.
4)
Check the setting of the TV input.
5)
Note that the startup of the unit can take up to one minute.
An image is displayed but there is no sound
1)
Check, if the volume of your TV or of the SmartTV Station was accidentally
put to 0 or mute.
2)
Check the HDMI cable connection.
3)
Check the audio settings. Put the HDMI output to
Auto
.
A Wi-Fi network cannot be found or the connection is bad
1)
Please note that you need the WLAN Adapter N for SmartTV Station in order
to use a wireless network (optionally available in stores).
2)
It might be that other devices connected to the Wi-Fi network (e. g. Smart-
phone) disrupt the connection temporarily.
