Back Panel of your GateLock unit
From left to right, the five items on the back panel are:
• PWR (Power Input)
• Reset/Self-Test Button
• Internet Port
• Hub-PC Switch
• PC/Hub Port
• FG (Frame Ground)
Power Input
The power input port is identified as PWR on the back of the GateLock router. This
is where you connect the AC power cord included in the GateLock package. (Output:
5 volt direct current, 3 amperes.)
Reset/Self-Test Button
When you press Reset, GateLock’s configuration values will be restored to its default
values. To prevent accidental activation, the Reset button is slightly recessed within
the rear GateLock panel. To reach the Reset button, simply insert the tip of a pen or
similar object into the opening and push in lightly.
When you press Self-Test, GateLock checks itself for hardware problems. For
instructions on how to perform a self-test on GateLock, refer to
Performing A
Self-Test On GateLock starting on page 4-4
.
Note:
If you forget your GateLock configuration console password, you can restore
GateLock’s default settings by pressing the Reset button. The default configuration
console password is blank.
