When Linux is booting up, you will hear two high pitch beeps. This
means that the driver has been loaded successfully. If you want to
know if the card has connected to an access point, see if the red
ACT LED on the card is illuminated. When the ACT LED stops
blinking, it means the card/station has been connected to an access
point.
