Disconnect

the

enclosure

A proper disconnection of any USB hard drives and enclosures from your computer is

required to prevent any disruption during file transfers or even data corruption. To

disconnect open

My Computer

, select and right click the hard drive you would like to

disconnect and select

Eject

. The selected hard drive will disappear from your

Computer

list and a “Safe to Remove Hardware” message will appear on your system

tray.
