Upgrade Firmware
The firmware (software) in the TW100-BRF114 can be upgraded using your Web Browser.
You must first download the upgrade file, then select
Upgrade
on the Other menu. You will
see a screen like the following.

To perform the Firmware Upgrade:
1.
Click the "Browse" button and navigate to the location of the upgrade file.
2.
Select the upgrade file. It's name will appear in the
Upgrade File
field.
3.
Click the "Start Upgrade" button to commence the firmware upgrade.
The TW100-BRF114 is unavailable during the up-
grade process, and must restart when the upgrade is
completed. Any connections to or through the
TW100-BRF114 will be lost.

Options
This screen allows advanced users to enter or change a number of settings. For normal opera-
tion, there is no need to use this screen or change any settings.

Backup DNS
IP Address
Enter the IP Address of the DNS (Domain Name Servers) here. These
DNS will be used only if the primary DNS is unavailable.
MTU
MTU size
MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) value should only be changed if
advised to do so by Technical Support.
•
Enter a value between 1 and 1500.
•
This device will still auto-negotiate with the remote server, to set
the MTU size. The smaller of the 2 values (auto-negotiated, or en-
tered here) will be used.
•
For direct connections (not PPPoE or PPTP), the MTU used is
always 1500.
