TIP: Use the same size and shape tension flanges only to tighten the grinding disks. The
intermediate layer between the tension flange and grinding disk must consist of an elastic
material, e.g. rubber, soft cardboard etc…
Warning
Do not use any deformed or damaged grinding disks. You can spot these
through vibrations when using!
Operation
1. Check the power tool, cable, plug and accessories for damage.
2. Do not under any circumstances use the power tool if it is visibly damaged.
3. Wear suitable clothing and protective equipment at all times.
4. Make sure there are no assembly or adjusting tools in or on the power tool.
5. Ensure the necessary cutting / auxiliary tools are correctly fitted.
6. Check the power tool is turned off. When about to use, always switch the On/Off button to
the off position first.
7. Check before use that the voltage displayed on the label corresponds to the mains
voltage and the power tool is fitted with the correct plug.
8. Insert the plug in a properly installed plug socket.
9. Your power tool is now ready for use.
Handling
Adjusting the viewing windows with spark deflectors and work piece support
Warning
It is crucial you disconnect the power tool from the mainssocket before
working on the power tool (e.g. transporting, assembling, modifying,
cleaning and maintenance)!
Always set the work piece support (2) and spark deflector (5) as close as possible to the
grinding disks (3 and 7). As grinding disks wear with time, check the distance regularly and
adjust where necessary.
