3.1 DESIGN AND OPERATING FEATURES
The various interchangeable jaw blocks and ramps secure the Model 208B Pipe
Beveler to pipe and tubing that have an inside diameter ranging from 1.63”
(41.4 mm) through 8.63” (219.2 mm).
Beveling pipe and tubing with an inside diameter of 1.5" (31.1 mm) requires a 2"
Mandrel Assembly. This Assembly is not included with the Standard Machine.
The expanding mandrel provides fast, accurate self-centering and alignment to
the pipe or tubing to be machined.
The Model 208B accepts the reaction torque generated by the machining
operations through the mandrel.
No additional restraining devices are required.
