2.4.8 Concluding the sweeping operation
1. Stop the vehicle and engage the hand brake.
2. Completely retract in the front brush* using the joystick
3. Switch the front brush* drive off using switch

on the sweeper control
panel.
4. Switch the brush drives off using then appropriate switch
5. Switch the water pump off on the sweeper control panel and close the
solenoid valves for the spray water supply with switches

6. After stopping the sweeping operation, the suction fan should be kept
running for approx. 10 seconds to ingest the debris that maybe remaining
in the suction hood and suction hose, after this time, switch the suction
fan off using the appropriate switch
7. Lift the rear sweeping unit by pressing and holding switch
G
until the rear
sweeping unit is completely lifted. (The brush drive and suction fan must
be switched off)
8. Lift the front brush* by moving the joystick contrary to the driving direction.
9. Shift the engine into idle speed (see manual for the chassis).
10. Switch the hydraulics system off using the appropriate switch (see
Multicar manual).
11. Switch the power take-off drive off using the appropriate switch. (see
Multicar manual)
12. On the rear sweeper unit , remove the locking pin and washer from the
lower transport pin and insert the steel cable that hold the brushes in the
raised transport position on to the pin. When the cable has been inserted,
replace the washer and locking pin so that the transport cable is locked.
13. On the front brush* unit, insert the locking pin, that holds the brush in the
raised transport position.
14. Switch the rotating flashing beacon off.
