2.3 Networking the ATS
Your ATS can receive its IP address assignment via DHCP server (dynamic) or static (manual)
addressing methods. If you are uncertain which method to use, contact your network administrator
for assistance before continuing the configuration process.
Note:
The MAC address (12-digit string in this format: 000667xxxxxx) is printed on a label and attached to the ATS
enclosure. For static IP address assignment, use the DB9 configuration cable (730866) included with the ATS.
The ATS provides remote monitoring and more via Web browser, telnet and SNMP-based Network
Management Systems. For more information about configuration and operation of the ATS via the
PowerAlert Web browser interface, refer to the SNMPWEBCARD User's Guide by going to
www.tripplite.com/support and typing SNMPWEBCARD into the search field.
