Disposal
Ensure that worn-out equipment is made unusable immediately. Pull the plug from the
electric power supply and cut electric power supply cable. Worn-out equipment should,
whenever possible, be handed over to a local collecting point.
Safety precautions
Connect the equipment only to AC current, with a voltage in accordance with the type
plate on the equipment.
Electrical equipment is not a toy for children, as children cannot recognize the possible
dangers inherent with handling electrical equipment. It is therefore necessary to use
and store the equipment out of reach of children. Do not let the electric power supply
cable hang down. Packing material such as foil bags, polystyrene etc. should not be
available to children.
Never immerse the appliance in water. Do not use it while having a bath or a shower
or over a basin filled with water. The appliance must not come into contact with water
during cleaning.
Check regularly whether or not the electric power supply cable is damaged in any way,
in which case the equipment must not be used (Immediately pull the plug) and
handed over to the manufacturer for repair.
The equipment
must not be used

* the equipment, housing or cable are damaged
* the equipment is visibly damaged
* there is a suspicion of damage after it has been dropped or similar occurrence.
Ensure that nothing falls or is placed into the apertures of the equipment.
Pull the electric power supply plug if
* there are faults during use of the equipment
* before cleaning, repositioning and
* after use.
NEVER operate the equipment with moist or wet hands.
NEVER pull the plug from the socket by means of the electric cable or with wet hands.
NEVER carry or pull the equipment by means of the cable.
NEVER squeeze the electric power supply cable or pull it over sharp edges.
ALWAYS disconnect the electric power supply from the socket when filling, draining or
not using the equipment.
NEVER place the equipment and connecting cable on hot surfaces such as oven tops
or similar and do not use in close proximity of open flames.
Only use an extension cable after you are certain of its perfect condition.
