PRESSURE RELIEF PROCEDURE
!! IMPORTANT !!
The sprayer’s pressure must be manually relieved to prevent sprayer from starting or spraying
fluid accidentally. Fluid under high pressure can be injected through skin and cause serious injury.
To reduce risk of injury from injection, splashing fluid, or moving parts, please use the following
Pressure Relief Procedure
whenever you:
• Are instructed to relieve pressure
• Stop spraying
• Have to check or service your equipment
• Are installing or cleaning the spray tip
PRESSURE RELIEF PROCEDURE
1. Turn the pressure control knob all the way to the left to stop the unit from pumping.
2. Turn the On/Off switch to the
OFF
position.
3. Unplug the power cord from the wall.
4. Hold the metal part of the gun firmly to a grounded metal container and trigger the gun to
relieve the pressure.
5. Engage the trigger lock.
6. Open the prime valve (The valve is in prime or open position when the handle is pointing down) and
leave it open until you are ready to spray again.
