Explanation of Safety Labels
The most impor tant aspect of boating is safety.

numerous issues regarding the safe usage of your boat,
it is strongly recommended that you avail yourself of the
training and knowledge available through boating safety
courses, etc.
Warning Labels
Mounted at key locations throughout your boat are
warning labels (See page 16) which advise the owner/
operator of imperative safety precautions to follow when
operating and/or servicing equipment.
The examples below indicate the level of hazard by color
and explanation.

Denotes an immediate hazard exists that

in severe personal injury or death.

Denotes hazards or unsafe practices that
COULD
result in minor personal injury, product or property
damage.
Denotes hazards or unsafe practices that

Denotes information that is important to know prior
to operation and/or maintenance, but is not hazard
related.
