Cleaning the cooling system
The constant air circulation above the unit creates a dust carpet on the heat exchanger over time.
This reduces heat dissipation, decreases performance and finally leads to cooling failure. Therefore,
the heat exchanger must be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner, brush, bottle brush or broom,
depending on the amount of dust.
Filter replacement
The activated carbon filter must be replaced after 6 months or 10,000 litres, whichever comes first. If
you are using a filter from another manufacturer, please observe the replacement intervals indicated
on it. If the system is connected to a corner regulating valve with fine filter, the fine filter must also
be checked and cleaned every time the filter is changed.
1. Shut off water supply
2. Draw still water until the appliance is emptied
3. Unscrew the filter housing and pull it down and remove the old filter element.
(ATTENTION: Residual water quantities in the filter housing)
4. Insert new filter element and close filter housing.
