Identical to ‘bridged ethernet’, except with a fixed IP address. The installation
procedure follows the same line as section 8.2.3, with the exceptions that (1) you
should select either ‘1483 Routed LLC’ or ‘1483 Routed VCMUX’; and (2) you need
to input the IP address, subnet mask and gateway into the Windows network
settings. Consult the ‘INTERNET SHARING’ manual on the CD-ROM for how to
configure your fixed IP address in the Windows network settings.
