Explanation of protocols
Different protocols can be used to connect to the Internet via ADSL. These protocols
are often given different names by different service providers. For example, the
PPPoA protocol can be called RFC2364 by your ISP or ADSL line provider and
NDISWAN in your modem’s software. The required protocol is provided by your ISP.
See tables 2 and 3 below for the correct names of the various protocols.

Since the names of the protocols used during the manual installation are NDISLAN
