Self timer
The camera has an automatic exposure function which gives a time delay of 10
seconds before the photograph is taken. You can use the automatic self-timer
function to take a photograph of yourself.
Setting:
1. Switch
the
camera
on.
2.
Press the menu button.
3.
Open SELF TIMER. See section 10.1 also.
4. Select
ON.
5.
Press ENTER to confirm the selection.
6.
The setting now applies to all photos to be taken until the camera is switched
off.
Note
It is recommended that the tripod is used when taking a photograph using
the automatic self timer function.

Setting the exposure
You can adjust the exposure to underexpose or overexpose photographs. This will
make darker objects lighter or objects which are brightly lit less bright.
Setting:
1.
Switch the camera on.
2.
Press the MENU button.
3.
Open EXPOSURE. See section 10.1 also.
4.
Press the up button for lighter photos or the down button for darker ones.
The exposure can be set in steps of 0.5EV from -2.0EV to +2.0EV.
5.
Press ENTER to confirm the selection.
6.
The setting now applies to all photos to be taken.
Note
This value will be remembered by the camera even after it is switched off.
Do not forget to reset it back again!.
11.6 Other
settings
Follow these steps in order to make the settings.
1.
Switch the camera on.
2.
Open the menu and select SETUP. See section 10.1 also.
3.
See Table 10 for the correct option.
