9.1
Setting the lighting value (Capture and Film mode)
Adjust the lighting value if the object is much brighter or darker than the background.
The available white balance values are between -2.0 to +2.0 EV in steps of 0.5 EV.
Use the left or right button (-/+) to select the EV value. The EV value appears on the
LCD Screen.
9.2
Flash (Capture mode)
The flash can be used when there is insufficient light and as additional light when too
much light comes from behind the object.
The flash will be charged when “On” or “Auto” (Automatic) has been selected. If the
batteries are fully charged this takes about 3 seconds. The LCD screen remains
blank during charging. The status light will flash.

White balance (Capture mode)
Change the preset white balance setting to suit the lighting conditions in which the
picture is being taken.

Resolution (Capture mode)
Photographs can be saved in the memory in five different formats. Using a smaller
format allows you to take more photos.
Adjust the image quality and resolution by selecting [RESOLUTION]
from the menu
display.
