5.2.3 TWAIN settings
The screen with the TWAIN settings contains a number of folders. A folder can be selected by clicking on the tab using
the mouse.
5.2.3.1 'Main' folder
The main folder contains settings that are necessary for specifying scan parameters.

selection window.
Resolution
50 - 19200
Selects set resolutions.
Custom
Choose a resolution yourself between 50 and 19200 dpi
(only whole numbers).

No descreen pattern is set.
Newspaper
Sets a descreen pattern for a newspaper.
Magazine
Sets a descreen pattern for a magazine.
Descreen
Art magazine
Sets a descreen pattern for an art magazine.

Displays the image's real colours.
Colour calibration
Off
Displays a larger scale of colours. The image may differ
from the original.
Colour balance
Maintains the colour balance between the lightest and darkest colours.
Scale
Increases or decreases the format of the image.
Height and width
Displays the height and width of the selected area.
Image format
Displays the computer memory or disk space necessary to scan/save the selected area.
