1. Introduction
No part of this instruction manual may be reproduced or transmitted, in any form or
by any means whatsoever, for any purpose other than the purchaser's own personal
use, without prior written permission from the manufacturer.
2. Use
The Power Protector 530 is equipped with a childproof socket.
The power is only accessible if both poles of the plug are inserted into the Power
Protector 530 at the same time.
The following points should be observed when using the Power Protector 530:
1.
Do not use this device near water.
2.
Extremely high voltages can cause this device to malfunction, although the
safety of any devices connected to it will still be guaranteed. Do not try to
repair the Power Detector 530 if it malfunctions.
3.
Do not use this device if:
a)
The cable or plug is damaged,
b)
Fluid has entered the device,
c)
The casing has been damaged.
4.
Only connect this device to an earthed plug socket. The red LED 4 (see
figure 1) will light up if the device has been connected to a plug socket which
is not earthed. This may also effect the functionality of the device.
5.
Connecting heavy equipment, such as an electrical heater, will activate the
safety device 5. This may damage the device. The internal fuse will blow and
a buzzer will be heard.
