Figure 75 depicts 3 typical examples of linking sections:
A)
A swath-by-drive with:
Channel 1 master with Channel 4 subordinate
Channel 2 master with Channel 5 subordinate
Channel 3 master with Channel 6 subordinate
The subordinate channels will shut off when the master channels
are commanded off, such as when a task controller is active and
the channels cross over a previously applied area.
B)
Six seeding channels of different crops with a common
operation.
Channel/Section 1 - 4 Corn
Channel/Section 5 Fertilizer linked to Channel 1 and 2
Channel/Section 6 Fertilizer linked to Channel 3 and 4
A swath-by-drive example with Channel 5 (Section 5) linked as
subordinate to Channel 1 (Section 1) and Channel 2 (Section 2)
masters and Section 6 subordinate linked to Channel 3 and 4
masters. Section 5 turns off when Channels 1 and 2 are turned
off; Section 6 turns off when Channels 3 and 4 are turned off.
C)
3 Seeding channels and one fertilizer channel.
Channel/Section 4 will remain on unless Channel/Sections
1-3 are all off.
Channel/Section 1 through 3 master sections with Channel 4
as subordinate.
