CONTROL INSTRUMENT
1.
Select the instrument size (‘small’ covers 1x1 and ‘large’
covers 2x2 cells).
2. Select the channel number and the instrument to appear on
the Work Screen.
3. Select the Rate Display Type:

Area
- Displays actual application rate values for the
desired channel with the target rate value in black. Both
rates appear in black within target parameters and red
when outside of parameter limits. Only available for
channel types that cover an area.

RPM
- Displays the actual RPM of the channel. This
option is available for fan and shaft channels. Both target
RPM and actual RPM appear in black when controlling
within target parameters and actual RPM displays in red
when outside of parameter limits.

Time
- Displays actual seeds per second values for the
desired channel with the application target rate value in
black. Only available for channels that have a per-time
rate.

None
- Displays only the target application rate value in
black. Does not display an actual rate
4. Select the Sensitivity of the arched gauge:

Fine
- the arched gauge will display green when the
actual rate is +/- 3% of the target rate, yellow when >3%
and <= 10% error from target, and red when >10% and
<12.9% error. When greater than 12.9% error, the gauge
will display as red with the indicator dot remaining at
the edge.

Medium
- the arched gauge will display green when the
actual rate is +/- 5% of the target rate, yellow when >5%
and <= 10% error from target, and red when >10% and
<12.9% error. When greater than 12.9% error, the gauge
will display as red with the indicator dot remaining at
the edge.

Coarse
- the arched gauge will display green when the
actual rate is +/- 8% of the target rate, yellow when >8%
and <= 10% error from target, and red when >10% and
<12.9% error. When greater than 12.9% error, the gauge
will display as red with the indicator dot remaining at
the edge.
