NOTE
DICKEY-john proportional valves operate at 100 Hz.
NOTE
The correct number of pulses generated for one revolution
must be determined for sensors other than DICKEY-john.
DRIVE TYPE PWM (PULSE WIDTH MODULATION)
A valve, usually hydraulic, which varies the oil flow to a hydraulic
motor proportioned to electric current supplied. This type of valve
consists of a flow cartridge and coil assembly.
DRIVE FREQUENCY
Specifies the frequency for the proportional valve installed. The
recommended setting for this option should be specified from the
specific valve manufacturer.
INPUT FILTER
Provides a setting for the amount of filtering applied to the
feedback frequency of the control channel.
IMPORTANT
It is NOT recommended to change the Filter setting. Any
adjustments could result in the channel not operating
properly. If adjustments are made, a valve calibration
must be performed.
GEAR RATIO
Specifies the actual ratio from the application rate sensor to the
seed meter. This specifies the number of revolutions the
application rate sensor turns in relation to one revolution the
seed meter turns.
NOTE
The correct number of pulses generated for one revolution
must be determined for sensors other than DICKEY-john.
SENSOR CONSTANT
Establishes the number of pulses for one revolution of the
application rate sensor. If a standard DICKEY-john application
rate sensor is used, the value should be set to 360.
