1 Preparations
Refer to the safety instructions for handling airbag modules and pyrotechnical
belt tensioners. Incorrect handling may cause the pyrotechnical belt tensioner or
side airbag to deploy and thus cause injuries.
The following components must be removed first of all:

Footwell trim on the passenger side
l
Front seat, left or right
l
Backrest cover, left or right
l
Seat cover, left or right
l
Pedal trim
