Monitoring and alarms
The Agrocont system monitors the levels of seed and fertilizer containers and the
rotation of seed and fertilizer shafts.
Container monitoring
activates an alarm when the level of seed or fertilizer is low
enough to leave the sensor in the seed or fertilizer container completely exposed.
Shaft monitoring
is based on the monitoring of the feed shaft and rear wheel. The
shaft monitoring setting, the range of which is 1–9, determines the number of bearing
wheel impulses the machine may receive before it must receive an impulse from the
feed shaft. If a feed shaft impulse is not received within the determined period of
time, the system will activate a shaft-rotation dysfunction alarm.
To configure the threshold values for the alarm, press the Stop/OK key and the right
marker (number 9) key simultaneously. A1 and A2 (A1 = fertilizer shaft, A2 = seed
shaft), for which the alarm limit range is 1 – 9, will then be displayed on the left side
of the screen, and T1 and T2 (T1 = fertilizer, T2 = seeds), the value for which can be
either 1 or 0 (1 = alarm on, 0 = alarm off), on the right side of the screen. The text
“OK” displayed after a value indicates that this value can be adjusted with the plus
and minus keys. You can accept your selections with the Stop/OK key, after which
you can adjust the next value. After configuring the last of the values, press the
Stop/OK key to return to the basic view.

Activation of alarms
Press the Stop/OK and the down-pressure keys simultaneously to display the
activated alarms on the screen. If everything is OK, the text “no alarms” will be
shown. If there are alarms active, the symbols for them (e.g. “T1” for the fertilizer
container level-monitoring) are displayed. When, for example, the level of fertilizer
falls below the sensor when driving, Agrocont activates an alarm, which you can
determine as received with the Stop/OK key, after which the system will not repeat
the alarm, but the alarm will be set as an active alarm.
