If the bolts of your seat post are not sufficiently tightened up (no sufficient torque), the saddle
could slip and move within the clamping system, always use a calibrated torque wrench
If the torque applied on the bolts is too high, it could generate high stress levels within the rails
leading to possible rail failure! Always use a calibrated torque wrench and respect the maximum
admissible torque limits to be applied on the bolts
You must read the assembly and operating instruction manual of your seat post and/or contact
your seat post contact point. Read and respect the maximum and minimum torque limits to be
applied on the bolts
When you feel comfortable with the angle, height and position of the saddle tighten up the bolts of your
seat post such as indicated in the assembly and operating instruction manual of your seat post using a
calibrated torque wrench (see Fig 5).
