STEP 4

Prick your finger with the Roche Softclix XS lancing device 

and place a drop of blood on the strip.

STEP 5

The CoaguChek will analyse the sample and upload the 

result to myMobile. Tap ‘

Continue

’ on myMobile.

STEP 6

Remove the protective end of the lancing device and press 

the yellow button to eject the lancet into a sharps bin. 

Remove the test strip from the CoaguChek device and 

dispose of it in your normal household rubbish.

Cleaning Instructions

 

Clean the device at least weekly or if visibly soiled.

 

To clean the exterior, use a soft cloth, slightly dampened (not wet) with a small amount of 

liquid soap diluted in water. Ensure the meter is powered off and then wipe it clean. Do not 

let liquid accumulate or enter any opening.

 

Use only 70% isopropyl alcohol or 10% Sodium hypochlorite solution to clean/disinfect the 

CoaguChek XS meter housing for a contact time of <1 minute.

 

For drying, use a lint-free tissue to wipe away residual moisture and fluids and wait  for at 

least 10 minutes before performing a test.
