‘To unit’ means signals are coming from a controller and being received by the unit.
‘From unit’ means signals are coming from the unit and being sent to a controller.
RS-422 may require termination across the RX+/- pins (usually 120 Ohm).
RS-485 needs pins linked as shown and may require termination across the A/B
pins (usually 120 Ohm).
