Messaging
Manage Contacts
The Contacts list or address book contains the names and contact
information for your friends. For each contact, enter one of the following:
• email address
• 10 digit U.S. cell phone number
• Smart remote alias (use to send a message to a friend’s
smart remote)
Add a Contact
1.
Press the
HOME
key, scroll to Messaging, and press in the joystick.
2.
Press the Options soft key, scroll to Contacts, and press the Select
soft key.
3.
Press the Options soft key, scroll to New Contact, and press the Select
soft key.
4.
Enter the requested information (name, address) using the
alphanumeric keypad multitap method.
5.
Press the Done soft key to save the contact to your list.
Edit a Contact
1.
Press the
HOME
key, scroll to Messaging, and press in the joystick.
2.
Press the Options soft key, scroll to Contacts, and press the Select
soft key.
3.
Scroll to the contact you want to change.
4.
Press the Options soft key, scroll to Edit, and press the Select soft key.
5.
Review the information for this contact, and enter new information
(email, cell phone number, alias) using the alphanumeric keypad.
6.
Press the Done soft key to save the contact information.
