REASSEMBLY

Assemble the separator oil ring (3rd ring)
locating its end gap towards exhaust side (aero
marked) of the piston at 45 degree to the left
from the center. (Fig. 3.96)
Note:
Assemble the separator oil ring in such
a w a y t h a t i t s t r i a n g l e s h a p e d e n d
(Fig. 3.97) facing upward (triangle facing
towards piston top).

Assemble the oil ring (bottom - 5th ring)
locating its end gap towards exhaust side of
the piston at 45 degree to the right from the
center. (Fig. 3.96)

Assemble the oil ring (top - 4th ring) locating its
end gap towards exhaust side of the piston at
45 degree to the left from the center.(Fig. 3.96)

Assemble the ring piston 2nd, locating its end
gap towards the inlet side of the piston at
60 degree to the right from the center.
