8. hot Tub & Slide
8.1 Filling the Hot Tub
1. Water towards the center of the lake tends to be
cleaner. Keep this in mind when filling the hot tub.
2. Start generator.
3. Turn on hot tub breaker.
4. Go to main hot tub control access, open red fill/drain
valve located under tub, open bleed valve. (Fill drain
valves are blue and red.)
5. Set tub to fill by flipping switch (under tub marked fill
and circ on the metal switch) to fill.
6. Once tub is full - close fill/drain valve and bleed valve.
8.2 Circulation for Heating
Your hot tub is equipped with a small circulation pump,
primarily used for bringing the hot tub to temperature.
In order to operate the tub in the most efficient manner,
the next steps should be followed:
1. If you intend to heat the hot tub water without your
generator running, ensure your cabin batteries are
charged. Check your inverter panel and follow charging
procedures if battery level is below 12.0 volts.
2. Turn CIRC Pump Breaker On - this breaker may also be
labeled as TV/Stove/Circ Pump/Hot Tub Heater.
3. Turn CIRC Pump Switch On - at hot tub control access.
On the starboard side of your hot tub is the access to
the main controls. Turn on the switch (wall mounted)
labeled ‘mini circ’, this will allow the water to pass slowly
through the heater if not air locked. Bleed air if
necessary.
4. Opposite to the main hot tub control access door is
the access to the hot tub heater. Your hot tub heater
does not require lighting, it is electric. Set the thermostat
to a comfortable level (blue= cool, red= hot). If the water
becomes too hot, add cold water from lake by following
hot tub fill procedures.
