HOW TO HANG  

YOUR HAMMOCK

Read instructions before use and keep for future reference. Failure 

to read these instructions before use can lead to an increased risk 

of injury. When installing always check with a qualified builder for 

safety.

WARNING

:  

DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM LOAD OF 140KGS

On each end of the hammock, tie two basic overhand knots (as close together as 

possible) approximately 10cm from the end of the rope to form a double knot – see 

figure 2.
Wind ropes on each end of the hammock around a fixed point (e.g. tree trunks). Loop 

the rope end through the knot and tighten the ropes to ensure that the ropes will not 

slip downwards before using hammock.

Hook and lock the carabiner into the ropes as shown in figure 2.  Ensuring that the hook 

opening is pointing downwards.

Hang the hammock loops at roughly the same height. When the hammock is in use it should 

sit 20-30cm above the ground. Alternatively rope can be used following the below guidelines.
