Laser Safety
Administrative and Procedural Controls
These controls largely involve access to the laser-controlled area. Any controls put in place during
abnormal conditions, such as equipment repair and maintenance; and general safety rules (such as
insisting the equipment be operated with shielding removed) are “at risk” situations based on
individual company management policies.
