uSiNG YOur culiNG irON
• Plug the appliance into the mains and wait for a few
minutes to allow it to reach its working temperature.
• Hair should be dry or very nearly dry. Separate the stands
of to be curled gently brush it free of tangles. Wrap the hair
around the barrel using your hand as a guide and then
wind the barrel towards the scalp exactly as you would
when using a roller. hold it in place for 10-20 seconds and
then gently unwind it.
• Holding it in position for just 5-10 seconds will create gentle
waves. To achieve extra bounce and body lift serveral
strands of hair and gently run a brush through them from
scalp to the hair ends.
• This appliance is suitable for natural and bleached or
color hair. Fine or bleached hair should need only 10-20
seconds wrapped around the barrel to achieve good
results, coarse hair may need a little longer. In practice a
little experimentation and experience will give the desired
results whatever the hair type.
• This appliance can be used on natural hair wigs. Do not
however use it on artificial hair wigs or hairpieces as these
may melt in the heat generated by the barrel.
• Do not use on hair which has been treated with lacquer
or setting lotion as this can stick to the barrel, reducing its
efficiency.
