SAFETY
CAUTION: Prior to every use, check that all locks
are tight to avoid slippage.
CAUTION: Trekking poles are recommended
for adult use only. They provide stability and
traction while helping users maintain balance
but are not intended to be weight bearing. Do
not use trekking poles as crutches or canes.
NOTE: Trekking poles are only designed for
use when snowshoeing or hiking. They are not
intended for downhill skiing, Nordic skiing or
skinning uphill.
MAINTENANCE
• Periodically inspect to ensure poles are not
damaged, cracked or broken.
• Never put oil or silicone on the pole shafts.
• If poles get wet, lengthen the lower shafts and allow
them to dry completely before storing.
ACCESSORIES
1. Rubber Tip –
REMOVE BEFORE USE.
Protects trekking
pole tip while in storage.
2. Tungsten Carbide – General use tip suitable for all
surfaces and ground conditions.
3. Boot Tip – For hard or delicate surfaces, indoor use
and Nordic walking.
4. Mud Basket – For mud, sand, hard-packed snow
and other soft surfaces.
5. Snow Basket – For general use in snow and while
snowshoeing.
