Position 0
<WINTER>
Opens an air intake at the top of the filter that permits
the filter to be drained, rendering it free of liquids that
could freeze in the winter.
Position 4
<DRAIN>
Permits the water in the swimming pool to drain.
Inflow: PUMP
Drain: WASTE
Position 1
<FILTRATION>
Permits draining of swimming pool water. Water
circulates in tank.
Inflow: PUMP
Outflow: RETURN
Position 5
<CIRCULATION>
Permits the circulation of water in the swimming pool
(helps dissolve water treatment chemicals).
Inflow: PUMP
Outflow: RETURN
Position
2
<RINSE>
Permits the rinsing of the sand, lowering the tank
pressure, so that the silica sand at the bottom of the
tank can be cleared of mud.
Inflow: PUMP
Outflow: WASTE
Position 6
<CLOSED>
Permits the performance of maintenance work on
the filter.
Position 3

E’S FUNCTIONS
CLEANING POOL FLOOR
CLEANING POOL FLOOR
Set the multi-port in the FILTRATION position to vacuum the pool floor (e.g. with Ubbink PoolCleaner Auto, Art. No.
7500401). Connect the pool floor vacuum hose to the skimmer. The filtration group pump must be shut off.
Important: Fill the pool floor vacuum hose completely with water, so that the filter pump cannot take on air. Once
this has been completed, turn the pump on. If air enters the filter system, immediately shut the filter pump off,
before again evacuating the vacuum of air.
Using the brush attachment, slowly and uniformly vacuum the floor of the pool to avoid stirring up dirt. A skimmer
with strainer basket is absolutely necessary if the filtration system does not have a preliminary filter!
PRACTICAL INFORMATION FOR USE
The duration of the daily water filtration is the product of the ratio of your pool’s water volume (m³) to the volume of water flowing through the filter per hour (m³/h) at an approx.
water temperature of 21° C.
If the filtration system runs for longer than four hours, it requires two hours to rest. Be careful to observe this, as it will prolong the life span of your pump.
