Cleaning and Maintenance
Attention dangerous electric Voltage.
Opening Housing (Figures 1 + 2)
- At first, screw out the safety screw at the bottom of the housing
- After this, open the 2 catches at the rear of the housing and remove the top part
Cleaning UV-C-Device
Attention: The UVC-lamp cannot be switched on (safety switch-off!!) in case of open housing.
- At first, screw out the 3 fastening screws of the UVC-device (Figure 3)
- After this, take off the UVC-unit from the pump (Figure 4)
- Press down the catch and screw off the UVC-housing (clockwise, figures 5+6)
- Clean the UVC-housing under flowing water
- Clean the quartz glass on the outside with a moist cloth
- After this, re-assemble in reverse order.
Replacing UVC - Lamp
- Remove the quartz glass by opening the bayonet lock (Figure 7).
- Pull the inserted UVC-lamp out of the lamp base and replace with a new one (Figure 8)
- After this, re-position the quartz glass and lock with bayonet lock
Notice:
- The lamp should be replaced after approximately 5,000 operating hours to ensure an optimum UVC-irradiation.
- Use only UV-C–lamps, which conform, in name (PL) and capacity (Watt), to the data on the type plate.
- Always handle the UVC-lamp by the socket (not the glass!)
Cleaning Housing and Filter Insert
- Clean the top and bottom of the housing with clean water and a brush.
- Remove the filter foam block and wash out under flowing water; do not use chemical cleaning agents (Figure 9).
Cleaning Pump
- Lift the pump a little and pull out of the holder (Figure 10)
- Loosen the 4 screws at the pump cover and remove the rotor (Figures 11+12)
- Clean all parts with clean water and possibly a brush
- After cleaning, re-assemble all parts in reverse order and place the pump into the guide on the floor plate.
Storing/Over wintering
In case of frost, the device must be disassembled and stored frost-free. Thorough cleaning and check for damages should be carried out before storing.
Guarantee
We give a 3-year guarantee from the date of purchase on materials and manufacturing defects for this product. To make a claim under this guarantee, the original invoice must be
submitted as proof of purchase.
Claims brought about by incorrect installation or operation, inadequate maintenance, the effects of frost, inexpert attempts at repair, the use of force, wrongful acts by a third-party,
overloading and foreign objects, as well as all damage to parts resulting from wear and tear, are not covered by this guarantee.
By virtue of the Product Liability Act, we are not liable for damage caused by our equipment, if this is the result of inexpert repairs.
The UVC-Lamp, the filter foam block and the pump rotor are wear parts and not included in the guarantee.
