The control unit compares the signal received from the sensor and the threshold set, and
sends a close command to the actuators due to the presence of wind.
As long as the signal from the wind sensor exceeds the threshold set, the close command en
-
joys precedence over the manual commands, the thermostat, and the CO2 sensor.
Once 5 minutes have passed since the sensor’s signal returned to within the limits set by the
threshold, the manual commands, thermostat, and CO2 sensor are enabled again.
The wind sensor sends impulses to the control unit to indicate the wind speed (see diagram 5
on page 50).
Inside the control unit, on the circuit board, there is a 7-position selector that can be used
to set the required wind alarm threshold. Higher values correspond to a higher wind speed
threshold.
Positions 0 to 7 correspond to the wind speed on the Beaufort scale. The selector comes in
position “3”.

A clean contact is used to indicate to the control unit that closing is required due to rain (see
diagram 5 on page 50).
As long as the signal from the rain sensor exceeds continues, the close command enjoys prec
-
edence over the manual commands, the thermostat and CO2 sensor.
Once 5 minutes have passed since the signal from the sensor ceased, the manual, the CO2 and
thermostat commands are enabled again.
The close command due to wind / rain has a lower priority than the emergency con
-
trols.
The thermostat and CO2, wind and rain sensors can be disabled via the “CLIMA” TER
-
MINAL. This termin
al requires a
NO contact that, when closed, disables the sensors.
The default setting for the sensors is enabled.
