Once you press
SHIFT
and
SYNC you will be able to define how the
Super 6 is going to respond to an external MIDI clock source and whether
the arpeggiator and sequencer will output MIDI notes. The available
options are saved as part of the global settings. You can enable the
following options:
• PATCH SELECT BUTTON 1:
With this option selected (LED solidly lit),
MIDI clock signals will be sent.
• PATCH SELECT BUTTON 2:
With this option selected (LED solidly
lit), MIDI clock signals will be received. On top of that, the Super 6 will
respond to MIDI Start and MIDI Stop commands and its sequencer
will follow the MIDI song position pointer (SPP). The latter allows
sequenced notes to match a DAW’s or an external sequencer’s song
position, so you can start sequences from beats other than the first
beat and still stay in sync. The sequencer will always reset when MIDI
Start and MIDI Stop commands are being received.
• PATCH SELECT BUTTON 3:
With this option selected (LED solidly lit),
the arpeggiator and sequencer will output MIDI notes during playback,
which is useful if you would like to record the arpeggiated notes or
sequenced steps to your DAW.
