WARNING!

Under no circumstances should you expose batteries to extreme heat or
fire as they may expose and cause injury.

4.  Place two fresh AA battery in the battery compartment.

5.  Reattach the battery compartment cover to the meter and reinstall

the screw s .

Fuse Replacement

WARNING!

Disconnect the test leads from the circuit under test and from the meter
prior to removing or installing fuses! Replace the bottom fuse with the
fuse specified for this meter ONLY!

To replace a blown fuse, perform the following procedures:

1. Turn off power to the circuit under test.

2.  Turn off the meter.

3.  Disconnect the test leads from the circuit or component under test.

4.  Open the battery/fuse compartment cover. The two fuses are

visible in the bottom of the compartment.

5.  Pull the defective fuse(s) from its fuse holder.

6.  Insert the fuse(s).

7. Reattach the battery compartment cover.

Note:

If the fuse is good, check for corrosion at the fuse clips and

ensure clips are tight around the fuse.

General Specifications

For any current measured in the 10 ampere mode, limit the measurement
d u ty cycle to five minutes. After continuous use for five minutes, disconnect
the current input from the 10 ampere mode for least five additional
minutes before making a second measurement.
