OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before its first use, wipe down the paella
pan with a damp cloth in order to remove
any possible dirt.
Always place the appliance on a flat, le-
vel surface. Never place the appliance on
hot surfaces.
Plug the detachable control module into
its socket then plug the appliance into the
mains supply and select the most appro-
priate temperature for the food to be
cooked. Wait a few minutes for the paella
pan to reach temperature. When this hap-
pens the pilot light will go out.
The pilot light will go on and off during
cooking; this shows that the paella pan is
maintaining the selected temperature.
Always use the spatula (9) or a similar
wooden kitchen utensil to stir and turn
the food. This will prevent the non-stick
surface from becoming scratched.
The use of metal utensils is not recom-

Use the glass lid (7) if you wish. This glass
lid is heat resistant and helps to distribute
the heat evenly.
The glass lid provides a convenient way
to check the food without splashes or
odours.
It is equipped with a small safety valve
that allows steam to escape during co-

After use, turn the temperature selector
back to 0 and unplug the appliance from
the mains.
