CALIBRATION INDICATOR

All  Ugin’Dentaire  furnaces  have  been  subjected  to  IPTS  68  (  International  Practical
Temperatue  Scale,  1968  )  temperature  testing  using  a  Eurotherm  239-type  millivolt
generator.
You can, however, modify the furnace settings by means of digital calibration.
This easy-to-use function applies to all furnace programs.
When programming the final temperature, press the standby key Standby
The calibration indicator lights up and the parameters display shows the factory preset
calibration number,

5

This setting assures satisfactory operation for a new muffle.

If the firing results indicate an overly high baking temperature

- increase the setting :

6

 = 1 point, or : -10°c

7

 = 2 points, or : -20°c

if the firing results indicate an overly low temperature

- decrease the setting :

4

 = 1 point, or : + 10°c

3

 = 2 points, or : +20°c

You can check the accuracy of the temperature setting by running a silver test.
( see page 31 )

PROGRAM NUMBER DISPLAY

The programming unit can memorize up to 100 programs ( 00 to 99 ).
N° 00 to 89 : porcelain firing programs
N° 90 to 99 : pressing programs

To  call  up  a  program,  press  clear  key  CL  and  then  enter  the  program  number  on  the
digital keyboard.
This operation can only be carried out if the furnace is in standby mode ( no display on
diagram 1 ) and the platform is in low position.
The  furnace  is  in  standby  mode  when  the  furnace  is  switched  on,  after  pressing  the
Stop key or standby key Standby ( if need be ) or at the end of a firing cycle.

 FIRING PARAMETER DISPLAY

This display gives the temperature of the program called up.
When programming, it displays the values of the various parameters of a program.
To move from one parameter to the next, press the
